Historic Property

Wilde Kind Farm was built by Dr. William McClellan in 1830 after he graduated from Bowdoin Medical School. His son, William McClellan, the 24th Attorney General of the State of Maine, was born in the house in 1832. In its almost 200 years the house has served as a Public House, Hotel, Stagecoach stop, and farm. The house has many of its original elements and is in the process of being lovingly updated and where possible restored.
